Returns Policy

INITIAL SUBSCRIPTIONS: All Merchandise sent in connection with your initial subscription (i.e., the three-volume Reference Set, initial Issue(s), initial Special Report(s), etc.) may be returned for a full refund within ten (10) days of purchase. Items must be accompanied by a receipt and must be in their original condition. You must follow all guidelines on "Packaging Returns" below. We can't refund shipping costs. Refunds will not be made to new subscribers after this 10-day period.


When returning merchandise to JLCom Publishing Co., LLC, please pack the items carefully to avoid damage in transit. JLCom Publishing Co., LLC cannot accept books or other merchandise damaged as a result of poor packaging. Be sure to follow these guidelines:

CARTON: Use a corrugated carton in good, rigid condition, with all flaps intact. (Use the original carton if at all possible.) Choose a carton that's large enough to allow room for adequate cushioning material on all sides of the volumes and other items.

PLACEMENT OF VOLUMES: The volumes should be packaged with the spines down or laid flat.

PROTECT THE VOLUMES INSIDE THE PACKAGE: The most common error made in packaging is not protecting the contents inside the parcel. JLCom Publishing Co., LLC uses styrofoam or other packing material placed around the volumes and other items to be shipped. This packaging prevents shocks received on the outside of the carton from passing through to the volumes and other items inside.

DOCUMENTATION: Please include a copy of the invoice. Credit shall be in the form of a refund check (minus S/H and re-stocking fee) payable to you and shall be sent within 30 days after receipt of the returned merchandise.

PACKAGE SEALING: Suitable closure of your package is as important as adequate cushioning. Use a strong tape, two inches or more in width, and apply several strips of tape to both the top and bottom of the carton.

LABELING: To ensure proper delivery, address your return to:

Place the delivery label on the top of the carton, away from a seam or closure. Remove any old address labels and cross out any other markings on a used carton. Include your complete return address, with zip code and full street information. Mark multiple boxes 1 of 2, 2 of 2, etc.

SHIPMENT: Returned books must be shipped via United Parcel Service or insured mail.

There is a $25.00 re-stocking fee, PLUS shipping and handling, for all returns. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.


RENEWALS: We value all of our subscribers. Accordingly, in order to avoid interruption of your receipt of issues and Special Reports to Advertising Compliance Service, we typically continue to send issues and/or Special Reports for several weeks past your renewal date. You will be sent several notices prior to your renewal date and have several opportunities to cancel prior to your renewal date and appreciate your letting us know of your intent to do so. If you still fail to notify us of your cancelation, we will consider your subscription canceled. Your cancellation at any time and by any reasonable means (e.g., letter, e-mail, fax, telephone) prior to your renewal date terminates your subscription, effective as of your renewal date with no further obligation to you whatsoever. You may keep all issues, special reports or other materials sent to you after your renewal date without any charge. Once renewal payment is received by us, no refund of renewal payment will be made to renewal subscribers.
